You are so loved.
So loved that God made the way for you to be here…at this moment.
So loved that God made the way for you to choose life today.
So loved that God made the way for you to know the truth about your future.
So loved that God made one way; one simple decision.
Jesus, the Christ.
Maybe you have lots of questions. I did, too.
Placing my faith in the reality – the truth – of Jesus was the beginning of discovering answers I needed.
I learned of Jesus as a child, and I accepted Him according to what the Bible says about Him. I recall the sense that my life had changed in an undeniable way.
However, I struggled to understand that change because I was not nurtured in His Word. There was much about following Jesus – being a child of God – that I didn’t know until I was an adult.
Life was unkind and unfair, not to mention messes of my own making, all of which became the motivator for learning more about my faith in Christ. I sought answers in my Bible, turned to other faithful followers of Christ, and participated in Bible studies that challenged me to learn – and apply – God’s Word to every circumstance of my life.
After decades of following Christ, my decision to accept Him as my Savior is – and will always be – the absolute best decision of my life!
I will never be alone.
Hope always devours my despair.
Nothing compares to the unconditional love of God.
All my sins are forgiven through Christ.
Death has no hold on me; I will live forever with Jesus.
Everything I have shared about my life because of Christ (and more) is true for all who believe in Jesus.
Does truth matter to you; if what you believe is not true, would you want to know?
Would you like to know how you can invite Christ into your life; receive salvation?
I am honored to share a few passages from God’s Word with you.
God’s love and God’s plan:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 (NASB)
Sin (rebellion against God) separates us from God:
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” – Romans 3:23 (ESV)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 6:23 (ESV)
Jesus came to give:
“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” -John 10:10 (ESV)
God provided the one – the only – solution: Jesus Christ:
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:8 (NASB)
“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, …” -1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (NASB)
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” -John 14:6 (NASB)
How to receive salvation through Jesus Christ:
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, …” -John 1:12 (NASB)
“And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31 ESV)
We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV)
After reading these Scriptures, would you like to trust Jesus Christ to be your Savior?
If so, let God know through prayer. Your words do not save you; believing God’s Word and trusting Christ are how you receive salvation.
If you are struggling to express your faith in words, here is an example to guide you:
“Dear God, thank You for Your Word. Thank You for pursuing me; for choosing me.
I believe Your Word is truth.
I believe I am lost – a sinner – without hope without You.
I believe I need forgiveness from You, and I ask You to forgive me.
I believe Jesus is the only way to be saved.
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sin, and that You raised Him from death to life.
I choose to trust Jesus to be my Savior, and I commit to follow Him as my Lord from this moment forward.
I trust You to lead me throughout life so that I can accomplish Your will.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen.”
